Gunshots fired in the air to prevent another burglary at Di Maria's home

A group of robbers attempted to plunder Angel di Maria's property in Turin, which resulted in frightening times for him and his family.

The meeting of friends was intended to be modest, and the Argentine forward was at home with his Juventus colleague and neighbor, Dusan Vlahovic.

A group of three people was caught on camera by the opulent neighborhood's private security attempting to enter Di Maria's home.

The police's swift action ultimately stopped them from carrying out their plan, and one of the three criminals was apprehended while the other two made off, according to accounts in Italian media.

Shots were heard at Di Maria's home

Shots were fired, according to witnesses who live close to the complex, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The security officers reportedly fired warning shots to deter the burglars from breaking in, according to the Italian media.

The attempted heist at Di Maria's home was stopped by guards, but this is not the first time he has been the victim of something similar.

Similar incidents in Paris and Manchester

Because his family had been stolen, Di Maria was forced to leave a Paris Saint-Germain game against Nantes in March 2021.

The Argentina international departed the field to rejoin his family after being informed of what had occurred.

On one occasion, the robbery went unnoticed by his wife Jorgelina, who was at home with their two girls, until they had already departed the property.

When Di Maria was a member of Manchester United in February 2015, the pair experienced another attempted robbery while eating supper at their house. The robbers were forced to leave by the alert.
